- Rich media ads – images, videos etc.
- Usually work on CPM basis
- There is an increasing ad spend and audience for this type of ad
- Less sites run video and image ads – therefore if we use them there will be a higher chance of advertisers choosing our sites to target
- 300×250 format of video ad is the most common and profitable
- Make your site more attractive to advertisers
- Desirable ad placements – above the fold
- Placement targeting (e.g. homepage & top right) – guarantee where ad will show
- To set up ad placement:
- Channel > add channel > tick targeting check box
- View advanced reports to see if advertisers are targeting your site – CPM
- CPC and CPM ads will compete to show in your site – whatever will make you the most money will show
