Matt Cutts Keynote Speech at SES London 2007 - parts 4 & 5
Here are the final instalments of the video of the keynote speech given at SES London 2007 by Matt Cutts. We found SES to be very enjoyable and informative, and would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about how to get sites ranking well in the search engines.
Part 4
In this clip, Chris asks Matt Cutts about how Google works with different laws in different countries, and uses China as an example, where Google sensors results. Matt talks about how Google tries to both abide the law of the country, but also give the user the information they desire. The clip finishes with Matt talking about the innovations going on at the other search engines, such as the smart answers feature at Ask.
Part 5
In the final clip of the keynote speech, Matt Cutts talks about what the attendees of the conference can do to improve their sites. He suggests using the Google webmaster console and announces that Webmaster Central is coming out of beta. As a final question, Chris asks Matt what Google will be doing in the future, and personalisation, and localisation seem to be key.
