What plugins do we use and why
As mentioned before SEO Tutorials is using a number of WordPress plugins. These are (at the time of writing):
- Another Wordpress Meta Plugin – Allows easy insertion of meta keywords and meta description tags into posts. Can be useful for SEO.
- Feedburner Feed Replacement – Forwards the default RSS feed to FeedBurner. This allows us the ability to track how many people are using the feed.
- PXS Mail Form – Creates a mail form with validation, and other features. Is used for our Contact Us form.
- RS Event – Adds an Event panel to the sidebar, and allows posts to have an event date set, so they show up in the panel.
- SEO Title Tag – Allows insertion of title tag into posts, which is very useful for SEO.
- Static Front Page – Allows the front page of the site to be static, which is the look we wanted for SEO Tutorials.
- wbQuiz – A Quiz plugin, to allow us to create quizzes for the website users.
- WordPress Database Backup – A default plugin included in WordPress. Allows the WordPress database to be backed up on demand.
