Finding and installing WordPress plugins
Plugins are very useful in WordPress sites, as they add more functionality and depth to the site. At the time of writing, SEO Tutorials is using eight separate plugins, with more not yet setup. Good resources for plugins are http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins, and http://wp-plugins.net/, although there are many others.
As there are so many available, it may be that you are a bit overwhelmed by the choice. I recommend making a list of the features you would like your site to have, and then trying to match the plugins with the list. This way you find exactly the plugins you want, rather than ones that might sound useful but dont have the exact features you require. Also, don’t be afraid to install a number of plugins to test them out. It is simple to deactivate them if they don’t work properly!
